When is The Online Farm Store updated? When is the best time to order?

We “restock” aka walk our fields constantly throughout the week, and review what is ready for the store by every Sunday. That way you’re getting the best out of our fields! We’ll update the store every Sunday by 11am for that week ahead, and add any additional or extra veggies by that Tuesday at 11am.

Do I have to be a CSA member to order? Can I order other items if I am a CSA member?

No, you don’t have to be a CSA member to order. And yes, you can order more items from the store if you’re a member.

The Online Farm Store makes it easier for folks who like specific veggies or herbs to order just those items. And it’s easier if you need something specific for a meal or event. CSA members will get access to unique bulk offerings of items that non-members won’t. But if anyone should have a need for one item, they can always reach out to us and we’ll see what we can do!

What kind of packaging do you use?

We package most of our orders into brown paper bags. If it’s a larger order it will be packaged in one of our re-usable farm totes (all totes need to be returned to the farm). As for our cut salad greens, those are packaged into plastic bags (unfortunately it’s still the best method for preserving fresh food/cost of material). But otherwise we try to use less plastic.

How do I know I’m getting fresh quality veggies and herbs if I’m not picking them out?

When it comes to The Online Farm Store, everything is picked per order. So we aren’t picking ahead of time! This cuts down on food waste, and means we’re picking the top quality item out of the field on the same day we harvest, wash and pack the order. So pretty fresh, very detail oriented, and small scale.
